I Want a Cowboy

Cowboy
Speaks quiet
Around waxed
Moustache.
Well worn clothing
Made of hide.
Stetson hat pulled low
Color of rain
Crusted sweat.
Voice
The open sky
Eyes
Bottomless river.

I want to go with him
Sleep on grassy range
Curled in his arms
Run wild with coyotes
Shiver and wail.
Feel alive.

Very nice. I can never get over how much I enjoy your pictures and poetry. I loved this one - the ending - sleeping on grassy range, curled in cowboy arms and running wild with coyotes....sigh.
